This is What Karma Looks Like When You're an Asshole

Okay, I don’t know if you can actually call it karma, as in a spiritual balancing force that determines your future events based on past experiences from this and past lives. But in the way we use “karma” to say “IF YOU ACT LIKE AN ASSHOLE, EVENTUALLY YOU’RE GONNA GET SCREWED,” then yes, this is perfect karma.

Josh Ostrovsky, who goes by the name The Fat Jew, and who also calls himself a comedian, is famous for two things: getting Millennial bros super into drinking rosé, and stealing jokes. When he was signed to the super mega fancy talent agency CAA this summer, people went f*cking nuts because Ostrovsky’s entire internet following is based on taking screenshots of other peoples’ memes and jokes, and posting them to his Instagram.

Now Ostrovsky has a book out, called Money Pizza Respect, which The Daily Dot called “the worst book [they’ve] ever read,” like a more homophobic, less funny Tucker Max. And what is the perfect fitting retribution for someone who was signed to a huge agency, given a book deal, and built a career based on screencapping other people’s work and calling it his own? This guy found it:

Yup, our new hero, Sealfan78, took a picture of every single page of Ostrovsky’s book an posted it to his Twitter, as well as to a Google doc. As of writing this, that first tweet, shown above, has been removed because Twitter doesn’t allow you to claim other people’s work as your own. But if you just post other people’s work and allow everyone to ASSUME it’s yours (LIKE THE FAT JEW DOES), they’re apparently a-okay with that. So Sealfan78’s 125 other tweets are still up.
