Linda the Policewoman was a Hungarian TV show created by György Gát and distributed by Hungarian National Television that ran from 1983 to 1989 throughout the Eastern bloc. You probably don’t know it. But you almost certainly do know its theme tune. But I bet you can’t guess why. Yep! That’s right! How long did it take? It turns out that the creators of one of the best TV theme tunes of all time have been in hot water over this similarity, as Gizmodo covered a few years ago.
