Jimmy Kimmel did another one of his man on the street segments, where he goes out in the streets of Los Angeles and asks people question to expose their stupidity. My guess is that when his crew needs to track down nine or 10 GOP yokels in Los Angeles, they probably have to spend 6 hours asking questions before they can generate enough material for a segment.
And cherry picking is kind of dishonest, because there are a lot of people in Los Angeles who could answer these questions intelligently and with some thought and insight. But then again, the reverse is probably true in rural Alabama, so I think these cherry picked folks who are asked, “Should Hillary Clinton be impeached?” are fairly representative of about 35 percent of the country, which is to say: They do not understand what impeachment is or how it works.
But it’s pretty funny.
This, however, is even funnier. Yesterday, a bunch of celebrities read mean tweets about Jimmy Kimmel. Larry David, however, seemed to find this entire concept incredibly novel, and he couldn’t keep his shit together as he rattled off Mean Tweets.
It wasn’t that funny, Larry. But it is interesting to see David laugh at something that’s not designed to make people uncomforta … oh wait. Nevermind.
