Continuing in the wake of their Doctor Who, DC, and Marvel comics’ collections, Hot Topic has released the first glimpses of their new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them collection, to be be available in stores and online on November 8th. Which is good, because a lot of us might really want to escape into a fantasy magical world on that specific date anyway.
The pieces we’ve seen so far are fairly vintage inspired, which makes sense given the period setting of the film, but the collection also boasts raglan tees, skater dresses, and other more modern styles as well. I believe this is the first time that one of these HT collections has actually dropped prior to the film. Perhaps Hot Topic is hoping to get a rush of purchases from fans who want to wear the styles to cosplay at the film’s opening. Take a peek at these pictures released by Warner Bros. Consumer Products:
Leading the way is this Newt Scamander Jacket, which will retail for $79.90 and will not come with an Eddie Redmayne weird vocal choice lesson.
Next we have the flapper inspired dress of Queenie Goldstein ($69,90). There will be a coat for Queenie ($99.90) as well, and a pin-up style dress for another Goldstein character, Tina. ($59.90)
Here’s a publicity still of Queenie to get an idea of what her jacket might entail:
And here’s Tina, so I literally have no idea what her pin-up dress is going to look like:
Finally, we have the Seraphina Picquery off-the-shoulder dress, which will retail for $89.90
Picquery is the President of the Magical Congress Of the United States of America (MACUSA) so this may be the look to go for if you want to be a boss ass bitch.
Here she is in the film:
Riley Silverman really wants to get a good look at all of their wands though.
