Last night’s “Battle of the Bastards” was as visually stunning as it was anything else. Director Miguel Sapochnik, who previously directed last season’s episodes “The Gift” and “Hardhome”, did an absolutely spectacular job with a massive episode, and produced some of the most beautiful, striking images the show has ever displayed.
But, in an episode resplendent with televised visual splendor, I think we can all agree these were the most beautiful of all.
Because fuck you, Ramsay.
