I thought I missed Game of Thrones last year, but now I’m positively pining away. Maybe it’s just that the True Detective Sunday night heir apparent was juuuuuuust a smidge less good than I had hoped.
Maybe it’s that the clips I’ve seen from FX’s upcoming The Bastard Executioner look kind of, I don’t know…sucky?
We could just go ahead and rename it The Dirty Meh right now.
Without even realizing it I found myself browsing the Thinkgeek GOT area. Oooh this will make my sadness go away!
I’ll just carry it around with me and like, set it on the counter of the bank and wink at the teller when I make a deposit and shit. Right. Like I actually go to banks. Or I can have friends over and leave it open on the table and they’ll be like “you spent a hundred dollars on that? You’re so cool!”
No. As likely as all of that is, it’s not going to work either.
But maybe we can at least enjoy some of these lesser known House Sigils, and maybe for a few, fleeting seconds, we can wash the pain away with a few knowing smirks.
(Most are mine, some are poached from various corners of the interwebs, if it’s a name you don’t know, it’s one of the staff writers here- some of the regulars will get the references)
