The Jon Snow Watch Moves to Spain, Reveals a Possible Funeral

What if Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are actually screwing with us? What if they flew Kit Harrington out to Belfast — where Game of Thrones is filming, and where Harington has been spotted — just to keep interest in Jon Snow alive? Just to keep headlines about Game of Thrones being written by the likes of us? I mean, if you really wanted to hide Kit Harington, wouldn’t you fly him Manchester and have him take a fairy over to Belfast? Or put him on a private jet? Or commission a submarine?

If HBO is screwing with us, though, they’re putting a lot of effort into it, as Kit Harington has now been seen — and photographed — in Spain.

Not so coincidentally, filming on Game of Thrones is also moving to Spain, but twist, Kit Harington’s next film is also set in Spain, so:

Here’s another curveball: According to Winter is Dead, there’s some evidence in photographs — if you look really, really closely — that the Night Watchmen may have ceremoniously burned Jon Snow’s body, as is custom. But then again, there could be other reasons for the fire on the set where the Night Watchmen typically burn their dead. Maybe someone else died. Maybe one of Dany’s dragons flew through and punished the Night Watchmen. Or maybe it was really cold and the crew lit a fire to keep everyone warm.

Who knows?

Meanwhile, there are also rumors — based on wild speculation — that Jon Snow could return as a wight or as the Knight’s King. These rumors have very little evidence aside from conjecture to support them.
