The Game of Thrones costumes in Season 7 have been badass. The designers have definitely leveled up. Everyone seems to be wearing their battle-ready regalia. Cersei has ditched the Lannister red and gold for this amazing black brocade armor gown.
Dany embraced ’80s shoulder pads full-force this season, and quite honestly, the look really works for her. I’m pretty sure these help with dragon flight aerodynamics, mostly because I hope that episodes 5-7 are just dragons burning shit up. (The wig however, oh my god that wig. I’d really like to know where in Westeros she was able to acquire a 1 1/2-inch barrel Conair and smoothing cream because that hair is ri.dic.ul.ous. Ain’t nobody got time for that.)

These sheepskins that I’ve been using as Christmas tree skirts for years are apparently what Jon Snow and his brothers use to keep warm and cozy up on The Wall. I’ve been IKEAing wrong. Since the 1967 Chicago blizzard is the inspiration for The Wall, I might be partaking in some arts and crafts this winter. HBO’s $8 million per episode budget is very generous, and it’s showing. Still though, where art thou direwolves?
