Here is the first full-length trailer for Wicked, starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Ariana Grande’s boyfriend Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Peter Dinklage, and Bowen Yang. The adaptation of the Hollywood musical comes from director Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians).

The film, like the musical, is set in the Land of Oz before and continuing after Dorothy’s arrival from Kansas. It centers on Elphaba Thropp (Erivo), a green-skinned woman, and the path that leads her to become the Wicked Witch of the West while forming an unlikely friendship and later rivalry with Galinda Upland, who would go on to become Glinda the Good (Grande).

It is a two-part film. Part one will be released this Thanksgiving, while the second half will arrive next Thanksgiving.
