Reinaldo Marcus Green, who directed King Richard, We Own This City, and Monsters And Men has reteamed with King Richard writer Zach Baylin to direct and chip in on writing the upcoming Bob Marley biopic One Love.

With a screenplay by Frank E. Flowers and Terence Winter (Wolf Of Wall Street), the film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir (Secret Invasion) as the iconic singer, and Lashana Lynch (The Woman King) as Rita Marley.

I’m no Marley aficionado by any means but I’m a big fan of his music and messages. And this looks good. We’ll find out when it hits theaters sometime in 2024.

Back in May, we wrote up the trailer for Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon. Earlier this week Leonardo DiCaprio posted a new trailer that is a much better representation of the events that took place in Oklahoma in the 1920s and centers the Osage people, rather than Ernest Burkhart.

Killers Of The Flower Moon is set to be released in theaters on October 20th.

Although it was an entirely derivative and unnecessary addition to The Conjuring franchise, I thought 2018’s The Nun was scary. And not at all because I’m still traumatized by my seven years of catechism classes and four years of Catholic school.

The trailer for the sequel, with Taissa Farmiga reprising her role as Sister Irene, Storm Reid (A Wrinkle In Time), and Bonnie Aarons as The Nun looks equally unnecessary and derivative. But I’m probably going to see it anyway because, well, see above.

The Nun II, Rejected Angel Boogaloo, will be in theaters on September 8th.

Here’s a little lagniappe for ya. A stage adaptation of a Stranger Things prequel, based on an original story by The Duffer Brothers, will begin performances Nov. 17 in London’s West End. Tickets are already sold out through mid-December. Deadline has the teaser trailer for it.
