Zach Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns movie debuts on Netflix on September 20th, and on first blush, this seems like a terrible idea. The appeal of these web shorts is that the awkwardness of the interviews is short enough to be funny without veering into completely uncomfortable territory. But this looks hysterical, not least of which is because of the phenomenal roster of cameos he’s pulled together from Brie Larson to Chrissy Teigen to Peter Dinklage, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Hamm, Tiffany Haddish, Rashida Jones, John Cho, David Letterman, John Legend, and KEANU.
Mostly, I’m here for Lauren Lapkus’ perfect line reading and John Legend’s EGOT penis.
Zach Galifianakis. Two ferns. A lot of famous people.
