Do you remember when Jean-Claude Van Damme made JCVD back in 2008 and everyone was all, “Wow this is the best, most meta action movietainment ever?” Well, this? This is better than that. Behold the beauty of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
I’m so ridiculously excited about this. I love Nic Cage as a performer with all of my weird little heart. I may have mentioned that previously. I love him from the frosted tips of his bad hairpieces to the toes of his overpriced boots. This might be my unofficial Pajiba 10 FYC.
Besides Nicolas Cage (duh) Massive Talent stars Pedro Pascal, Sharon Horgan, Ike Barinholtz, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, Lily Sheen, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tiffany Haddish. Tom Gormican (Ghosted) does double duty as director and writer with Kevin Etten (Kevin Can F**k Himself, Ghosted, Scrubs, Reaper).
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent opens in theaters on April 22, 2022.
