Netflix has been absolutely slaying on the animation front, offering such outstanding films as Klaus and I Lost My Body and sensational series like Hilda, Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, BoJack Horseman, and Tuca & Bertie. Coming next month, Netflix is bringing a new and kid-friendly animated feature to their service with The Willoughbys.
Based on Lois Lowry’s children’s book of the same name, The Willoughbys is about four siblings who love each other but loathe their mercilessly mean parents. So they concoct a plan to get them killed. Fun for kids! For the grown-ups, the voice cast boasts a barrage of enticing names, including Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski, Séan Cullen, and Ricky Gervais

Here’s the official logline for The Willoughbys:
Convinced they’d be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation. The siblings then embark on their own high-flying adventure to find the true meaning of family.
The Willoughbys hits Netflix on April 22.
