If you’re not following Moonlight director Barry Jenkins on Twitter, you really should get on it. His tweets are usually about film, whether sharing his excitement over some of this year’s most buzzed about movies, or getting very specific about the details that had him going gaga.

There’s an air of deep appreciation and contagious enthusiasm in his tweets. Also, we know that when he flies, he likes to spy on what the other people on the plane are watching.

That whole thread is charming, and you really should dive in. But today, we’re here to relish acclaimed director and beloved cinephile Barry Jenkins live-tweeting Notting Hill. To set the scene, he’s on a flight, listening to music, but peeping on a fellow passenger’s screen to enjoy the Hugh Grant/Julia Roberts vehicle about a floppy-haired bookshop owner who wins the heart of a gorgeous American movie star.

Enjoy.

That Jenkins did not live-tweet The Proposal is truly our loss. But there’s always next flight.
