Taylor Swift and a rag-tag group of her A-list friends all met up for an afternoon hang at Bradley Cooper’s apartment this Thursday before her 1989 Taylor’s Version was released later that night.
She was spotted entering Cooper’s apartment with Era’s Tour movie director Shawn Levy, who also directed Free Guy and is currently directing Deadpool 3, both starring Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds, sources told Page Six, showed up at the party later with his wife and Swift’s bestie, Blake Lively. This same source also spotted art dealer Vito Schnabel leaving the apartment at some point in the afternoon, but said he might have just been there to deliver a piece because such is a day in Bradley Cooper’s life: your art dealer drops by while you’re hanging out with Taylor Swift. Average Thursday.
Rumors of a Swift cameo in Deadpool 3 as “Dazzler,” a “Human Mutant with the ability to convert sound into light, and energy,” have been swirling, but Levy is staying mum.
“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see,” Levy said.
The movie is already highly anticipated for its inclusion of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, so that explains his presence at the gathering. Reynolds has been making the most of his connection with Swift lately, and she doesn’t do anything that she doesn’t want her rabid fans to see and theorize about, so this is probably the best confirmation we’re going to get that she will indeed appear in the film. What Bradley Cooper has to do with it, I can’t tell you. Nice of him to host, though.
