What's Going On with David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown Now?

Last weekend, rumors surfaced via The Daily Mail that Millie Bobby Brown had filed “pages and pages” of bullying complaints against her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour. And the thing is: No one from Netflix or Stranger Things denied the report. Granted, they didn’t confirm the report, either.

Harbour, of course, is already in the mud, so to speak, because his ex-wife Lily Allen released an album, West End Girl, that reads Harbour to filth for cheating and mistreating her during their marriage. He’s also been noticeably absent during the press tour — the first part of the final season comes out next week.

So, when Harbour and Brown see each other on the red carpet during the premiere, it’s bound to be awkward, right? Not so much.

It wasn’t just a one-off hug, either. They certainly seemed cordial for the cameras.

And what did she say to Extra on the red carpet about her reunion with Harbour? “It’s been amazing. We’re so lucky to have each other. The show means so much to the both of us and to everyone here.”

So, what are we to make of that? Asked about the bullying allegations on the red carpet, The Duffer Brothers (creators and writers of Stranger Things) politely demurred. “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal onset matters, but I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”

That’s not a denial. OK? And producer Shawn Levy? What does he have to say? “I’ve read a bunch of stories and they range from wildly inaccurate to … there’s so much noise around it. But the truth is that we view this crew and this cast as family, and so we treat each other with respect, and that’s always been bedrock.”

To … what, Levy? Wildly inaccurate to … what? Not wildly innaccurate?

These people are professionals, so whatever happened or did not happen, they’re keeping it buttoned down and wearing big smiles and sticking to the company line: “We’re family.”
