Wentworth Miller, star of Prison Break and The Flash, has made a career resurgence in the past few years, not only thanks to his acting but his honesty, coming out as a gay man and survivor of depression and suicide attempts.

So when a meme appeared, featuring him looking slightly less ripped than he did 10 years ago (and who among us doesn’t?), he responded with the exact honesty and eloquence you’d expect.

This isn’t the first time Miller has addressed this history publicly. In his speech for the Human Rights Campaign, he discussed the first time he attempted suicide at just 15 years old.
