Travis Tritt: country music icon. Dumb hair-haver. Hypocrite.
So, like many conservatives, Tritt took issue with Meryl Streep’s Golden Globes speech. And like the country music community has long enjoyed doing, Tritt responded to the speech with a “shut up and sing badly like a woman dying of syphilis.”
Advice to all actors, musicians and entertainers: Please stick to your crafts that we all love you for and drop the political rhetoric.

But that’s just one example; what’s the big d—oh, there’s more.
.@Travistritt Or how about this tweet from last year? https://t.co/ZzORQxwP2C

OK, fine, TWO things, whatev—oh, shit.
.@Travistritt Here's one where you praise a celebrity for getting into politics. https://t.co/465ndS3yxg

Hm. It’s almost like he’s not actually against performers being political.
.@Travistritt So really it seems this is about a celebrity talking politics that you don't like, and not just talking politics.
