When I first read this Yelp review for a Brooklyn-based moving company called Frank’s Express, I immediately pegged it as a fake account. I thought it was a hilarious an ingenious way to direct attention to a scathing review, but that there was no way Tituss Burgess would create an account to leave one single review, which starts by introducing himself as “an Emmy Nominated Actor for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt currently streaming on netflix.” That has to be fake, right?
Oh, I was very wrong.
Apparently, Frank’s never showed up for Burgess’ move. First, they said they were running late, and asked him to write a Yelp review (WISH GRANTED) before they’d shown up. Then, when he didn’t write an advance review, they refused to do the job.
And how do we know that all of this really did happen to Burgess, and not the creator of a fake account? BECAUSE HE MADE A VIDEO, TOO. #lizaminelli
I’m sure Frank of Frank’s is handling this super well, right?
Doing it..He just texted and called me a Faggot. Poor thing doesnt know hell hath no fury like a Tituss scorned https://t.co/IfEGdluqTs
