You know what’s fun? A good rapper beef in the time of Twitter. You can watch the back and forth while gauging fan support in real-time, without anything but verbal violence. It’s fun!

Today’s hashtag is #RIPNickCannon for his pitiful attempt at a diss track aimed at one Mr. Marshall Mathers, Eminem himself. See how far you can make it into Cannon’s rap before you shut the whole thing off.

It’s TERRIBLE, takes aim at Eminem for raising a child that isn’t his, allegedly engaging in gay sex, and also calls out his ex-wife Kim and daughter Hailey. All of this because Eminem rapped about banging Mariah Carey… and other insults to Cannon over the years. Both rappers are problematic, obviously, but the schadenfreude is too much to resist right now.

Cannon even retweeted all the background a newcomer needs to choose sides and revel in the memes.

OOF. The internet is choosing its fighter in this long-standing feud, and Eminem is the clear winner. At the time of this writing, Cannon’s song has only 32,000 likes and a whopping 161,000 dislikes on YouTube. Not only that, but Twitter is on fire about the whole situation. It’s glorious.

Do you think this is how Cannon saw this playing out in his head?
