Most of the Bachelor Nation news floating around the internet these days has to do with couples who met on Bachelor in Paradise as opposed to either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. The past two seasons of those shows have seen successful engagements—with Zach Shallcross getting engaged to Kaity Biggar and Charity Lawson getting engaged to Dotun Olubeko—but, really, the couples who meet on the beach in Mexico have in general stayed together more often and longer. Maybe that’s because they get to choose from a handful of people instead of competing for just one stranger, which always has been and still is a ridiculous notion? But I digress.
Anyway, the BIP couples have been rubbing their happiness in our faces lately. First, it was Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb getting engaged in early August.
Then Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour got married at a French Chateau later that month.
Then Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt hosted a wedding ceremony for friends and family earlier this month, having legally married a year prior.
And Caelynn Miller-Keyes wed Dean Unglert (they both changed their last names to Bell, Unglert’s mother’s maiden name) at a summer camp in Colorado this past weekend.
But don’t forget everyone’s favorite former Bachelorette, Becca Kufrin, who met Thomas Jacobs, a villain on his own Bachelorette season, in Mexico in 2021. They got engaged in 2022, with Kufrin proposing to Thomas because she’s awesome, and then revealed they were expecting their first child earlier this year. Based on an Instagram post of Thomas’s, it looks like Kufrin gave birth around the same time the Bells were getting married.
The ninth season of Bachelor in Paradise premieres Thursday, September 28th.
