You guys. YOU GUYS.

This is very exciting.

Back in December, there were two rumors about an adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series, and those two rumors were wonderful and glorious and made our parts (let’s not talk about which) tingly. And while we were super excited, it’s been a couple of months without a word of confirmation from anyone, that is until now.

“I think that it’s more likely than not that Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey will be in it. But I can’t say with any certainty. I know that they’re trying to make deals with these actors [and] with Sony, and that’s the extent of my knowledge.” (King)

Now, if I’m not crazy, Stephen King just confirmed that Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba are in talks to play the Man in Black and Roland Deschain.

Can’t talk, gotta dance. I’ll let Steven tell you why Idris is the most wonderful bit of Kingcasting ever. Bye.
