I’m not sure if you heard the news, but Kate Middleton shocked the world by driving herself to Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.

This exciting, yet mundane turn of events is enough to get any casual observer of the Royal family jazzed. I had a lot of questions about this, which I asked to my barista today, but Eddie didn’t give me a response because he was busy, didn’t care, and really wanted me to hurry up and pay because there was a line. Eddie is my best friend, but I have a sneaking suspicion I’m not his.

Here’s a video of Kate driving (you have to click past the poster’s cute pic outside of the palace), if you’re into that sort of thing. Eddie certainly isn’t.

Anyway, here’s what I want to know about Kate Middleton driving:

Is Kate Middleton’s wearing a tiara in her driver’s license photo? (I’m guessing not, but I’m hoping yes)

What is her favorite song to jam out to in the car? (I’m fairly certain it’s this:

)

What triggers her road rage? (I personally hate it when drivers straddle two lanes while they’re changing lanes, because they’re basically trying to hedge their bets. I wonder if she feels the same?)

Is her car messy, and follow up, does she allow people to eat in it? (I hope it’s a bit messy, and that she does allow people to eat in the car, because people who don’t let you eat in the car are the worst kind of people. French fries just taste better in the car. Everyone knows this.)

So what did we learn from this new turn of events? Not much, other than that now you can give Kate Middleton car accessories for her birthday, or Christmas, or just because something reminded you of her, and you know that she’ll at least be able to put it to use. If she doesn’t it’s because you chose poorly. I guarantee you that she would love an vanilla-scented air freshener for her car. She most definitely does not seem like the type to prefer “new car smell.”
