When David Duchovny got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week, Gillian Anderson wasn’t able to attend the ceremony, so she sent along a speech to be read. She may, however, have been slightly confused by what the purpose of the event actually was, as these were her words:
He was a nice man. A kind man. Quite smart. He liked avocado and pilates. Actor, writer, friend. He will always be my shining star. May his soul be forgiven and rest in peace.
That’s one touching eulogy for a not-dead man. Of course, we all already knew about Duchovny’s love of Pilates and yoga.
