Megan Fox Announces Poetry Collection About Bad Men

Actress Megan Fox announced her first book of poetry on Tuesday, titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.

“I wrote a book,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post revealing the cover of the collection.

“These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that has taken root in me because of my silence,” read the post. “I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins. My freedom lives in these pages and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”

Will her on-again-off-again twin flame and fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, be included? Sources say that the two are “in a really good place” right now after going to couples counseling, so, I guess not.

“They are fully back together and enjoying it,” the source said. “They are talking about their future plans and about moving forward with their engagement and wedding planning.”

“Proud of you,” Kelly commented on the announcement.

“Megan Fox showcases her wicked humor throughout a heartbreaking and dark collection of poetry. Over the course of more than seventy poems Fox chronicles all the ways in which we fit ourselves into the shape of the ones we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process,” the book description reads.

I’m not saying it sounds like her relationship with Kelly would fit that description perfectly, but I’m not not saying that. Maybe we’ll get a sequel when the twin flames go up in flames?

The collection, published by Simon & Schuster, is out November 7th.
