Kevin Costner Has Moved On With... Jewel?!

Back in September, Kevin Costner settled his very messy divorce from his wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner. Then, a month ago, rumors flew that the 68-year-old actor had moved on with Reese Witherspoon, of all people. How random. And also “completely fabricated and not true”, according to Reese’s rep.

But guess what? Today we learned Kevin is (probably) dating an even more random celebrity. Hmmm… Stacey Dash? Dannii Minogue? Flo from the Progressive commercials? No, no, and no! Kevin’s new gal is Jewel. As in singer Jewel “My hands are small, I know” Kilcher.

This morning, TMZ published photos of 49-year-old Jewel speaking into a microphone while Kevin hugs her from behind:

The pics were taken last month on Richard Branson’s private island in the British Virgin Islands. Jewel and Kevin were there as part of a tennis fundraiser for Inspiring Children Foundation. Jewel is the founder of the non-profit, and Kevin was a guest. Apparently, the new couple flew out to the island together and spent the week hanging out.

A source told TMZ: “There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up.” Another source added, “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.” Trying to be discreet? He’s all over her in those photos! TMZ says their insiders claim the relationship is “rather new”, but Jewel and Kevin are definitely a thing.

Jewel posted about her charity tennis tournament a couple weeks ago, and gave a shout out to Kevin in her caption: “@kevincostnermodernwest was kind enough to mentor our kids this year.” She uploaded a carousel of photos from the trip, one of which included her and Kevin in a group:

Honestly, Jewel, I think you can do a helluva lot better than Kevin Costner. Based on how he treated his ex after their separation, all that Yellowstone drama, and that gross massage allegation from 2006, all signs point to “asshole”. But, at the end of the day, just follow your heart. Your intuition. It will lead you in the right direction.
