J.K Rowling Reveals Her Favorite Harry Potter Chapter
Sure, most of us probably have a Harry Potter book. We probably all have a preferred (but not favorite) Harry Potter movie. But how many of us have a favorite chapter of the books? How many chapters are there in the Harry Potter series, total? According to Yahoo answers it’s 198 plus the epilogue in Deathly Hallows and that sounds plausible enough to me that I won’t be checking the math. Out of those 198 chapters, J.K Rowling has a clear favorite:

But why is that her favorite? Well:
So did I, but it was the culmination of 17 years' work and the most cathartic piece of writing of my life. https://t.co/XG0srTyVIE— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) October 17, 2015
I’ve heard (or read) her mention before that she wanted to create symmetry between Hagrid carrying Harry away from the wreckage of his parents’ house in Godric’s Hallow and then him carrying back to Hogwarts after his presumed death. But, of course, she could be completely and totally wrong about her own books and I’m sure you all can let her know which SHOULD be her favorite chapter in the comments below.
