Last night on Graham Norton, Ian McKellen met One Direction, while wearing a One Direction tee shirt because Ian McKellen has decided he’s living on ‘fun time’ now. The young men of One Direction seemed appropriately impressed by meeting Gandalf, with Harry Styles in particular gushing that McKellen is “amazing” before snuggling into his shoulder.

At another point in the show, Michael Keaton and Jamie Oliver discussed tattoos, and Keaton talks about meeting a man who had a Beetlejuice tattoo but did not realize that Keaton was Beetlejuice. You’d think if you had someone’s face tattooed on you, you’d know what they looked like, but people surprise me every day.
