Glenn Close has never been one to half-ass a red carpet. She's a fashion maven who loves to go big for the occasion. Right now, she has two style-appropriate projects to promote: the new Hunger Games movie Sunrise on the Reaping and the second season of All's Fair. Is the latter one of the worst TV shows I've ever seen? Yes. But, you know, great gowns, beautiful gowns. The series' NYC premiere was an opportunity for the cast, which includes Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Julliard-trained thespian Kim Kardashian. All very well-dressed women, but Glenn won the day by bringing along her clone.

I'm seeing double here. Four Glenn Closes! Glenn Close and Glenn Faraway!

The venti-sized Glenn is actually Alexis Stone, a drag artist who specializes in uncanny prosthetics transformations. She's dressed as Joan Rivers, Anna Wintour, even the Mona Lisa. Last year, Stone turned up at Fashion Week in Paris with a full Cruella De Vil look that included the actual wig Close wore in the 1996 film. Close was a big fan of the performance and decided a collaboration was in order. They're dressed in custom twinning Matières Fécales suits (yes, that's the brand's name.)

Honestly, I think Stone looks a little more Euphegenia Doubtfire than full-on Glenn Close, but the artistry is impeccable and together they create a trippy sight. Kudos to Close for this. How weird would it be to see someone turn up looking exactly like you, and have it not be a warning of the impending apocalypse? I am surprised she didn't save this for the Sunrise on the Reaping tour, given that her character is a tacky nightmare with intense plastic surgery, and that would have been a very Alexis Stone-esque challenge to take on. Let's have more weirdo red carpet moments like this. We can't leave it all to Heidi Klum on Halloween.
