I don’t know about you, but I’ve gotten so used to Henry Cavill with his American Superman voice that it’s always a shock when I hear him speaking in his natural accent. And by a shock, I mean I practically fall to the floor swooning, and so this video nearly killed me. It’s Monday, Warner Bros.; why’re you trying to wipe us out already?
Think I’m exaggerating? Feast your eyes on Superman’s adorable, slightly manipulative alter-ego quizzing a group of charming, opinionated and nearly-as-adorable kidlets about which superhero powers they’d like to have, which are the best of Superman and Batman’s abilities, and who they think would win a Batman versus Superman throwdown. You’d better believe Cavill gets in a good dig or two, but don’t blame me if you can’t really concentrate on the kids’ answers. His superpower is clearly CHARISMA.
The truth of the matter is, if not for HC, I’d have exactly zero interest in the whole Batman v Superman thing. Batfleck does absolutely nothing for my lions…
and as we all know — since superhero movies are mostly for the adults — lions are very important.
Those pesky twerps who answered that Batman is better may as well have sucker punched HC.
Henry was still gentleman enough to give his friend a shoutout. I thought that was especially nice.
One of the kids thought Superman could win in a fight against Batman with just a little help.
Hooboy. I’ve gotta run and enter that competition so I can ride around with
Superman Henry; obviously you know my pick in this particular match-up.
