Today in ‘the internet can be nice sometimes’ news, two of our favorite people bonded over a truly beautiful creation and we just had to share it with the world!
Little Women and Midsommar star Florence Pugh took time out from being one of the best actresses of her generation to make some marmalade. She documented the entire saga on her Instagram stories and it is totally adorable. She’s clearly having the time of her life, and as someone who greatly appreciates the therapeutic joys of cooking, it proved particularly relaxing. Stan Film Twitter, of course, loved it too, to the point where it was the site’s top trending topic for a while.

Film Twitter already has a top-class marmalade expert, and fans definitely drew parallels between Pugh and everyone’s favorite Peruvian bear.

Our beloved Paddington Bear is a true gentleman, a beacon of hope and positivity in a dark world that doesn’t deserve but desperately needs him. If you don’t follow him on Twitter, you’re missing out on the only reason to sign up for Twitter dot com. So, what did he think of Pugh’s marmalade skills?
If I had made 8 jars of marmalade last night I'd have one for each day of the week and a spare to share with a friend. @Florence_Pugh

I love them so much. Carry this joy with you throughout this dark and wet week, my friends. Treat yourselves to Elevenses while you’re at it. You deserve it. Paddington would say so.
