Lately, Dan Harmon has only been scoring the kind of headlines you don’t want, involving divorce divorce and Twitter meltdowns. But we like Harmon for the fun times he’s given us with Community, Rick & Morty and Harmontown. So we’re rooting for him, and glad to bring you some fun times updates regarding his thoughts on that summer flop that was Terminator Genisys.
Reminder, our own Steven Wilson wrote of it, “For all the set piece meh action, there was also a surprising depth to it, raising questions of machines learning to be more than machines, and of what it is that makes us human,” while our Brock Wilbur declared it “not only one of the worst films I’ve ever seen, but a borderline irresponsible film.”
So where does Harmon come down on this flawed resurrection of the flailing franchise?
And now, I want to say six or seven things about Terminator Genisys, or as it is known in my home, Time Robots V: Time to Stop

1. What was happening 2. How is Nano-Connor cooler than liquid metal 3. Old Arnold fighting young Arnold sounds fun, so why isn't it

4. (question is for all Terminator movies) what kind of enemy starts with nukes, graduates to metal skeletons then closes with time travel

Oh my god they never stop with the wall throwing https://t.co/54KlomecWh

Lost track of my numbers but final question is how do you write that movie while getting on that high a horse re: our love of technology
— Dan Harmon (@danharmon) October 26, 2015
That movie was only passionate about what asshole dip fucks we are for being lazy and looking at our phones. Judge not, Terminator Five.

Okay, that's it. I paid 14.99 for it, so, I'm part of the problem. Not reading replies, so I'll just say - Hey, great argument and/or pun!
— Dan Harmon (@danharmon) October 26, 2015
Okay I read your replies and I misjudged you, they made me happy and not want to kill myself or you.

I think dogpiling a lazy, probably super profitable sequel brings a spirit of comradery out in us. I'm so happy, thank you, Bad Terminator!

Kristy Puchko liked Terminator Genisys because even creeky Schwarzenegger is good stuff.
