If you’ve ever listened to Erin McGathy’s podcast, This Feels Terrible, or heard her on her many appearances on Harmontown, you probably love McGathy more than you do Community showrunner Dan Harmon, who is a comedy genius but who has proven in the past that he’s challenging to work with.
She’s splendid. He’s funny, and after less than a year of marriage (and an amazing wedding), the two are getting a divorce.

— Erin McGathy (@ErinMcGathy) October 11, 2015We could speculate on all the reasons why they’re getting a divorce, but they’re podcast famous and not Affleck famous, so it would feel irresponsible to make up rumors about Harmon’s moodiness, his history of drinking, and his tendency toward self-hatred.
They’re great people, but maybe they weren’t so great together. We wish the best to both of them in their future endeavors, but mostly McGathy. Misery, after all, seems to fuel Harmon’s creative efforts.
People may say getting a divorce is an extreme measure for rebooting a podcast, but I'd ask if they heard my interview w/ Rachael Leigh Cook
