It’s a shit day. The terrorists won. Serial is over. The Colbert Report takes its final bow tonight. We need something stupid and happy. Thankfully, Craig Ferguson gave us just that.
Last night on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, the silly Scot welcomed Betty White, and got into the Christmas spirit. First, by bonding over her favorite holiday song “All I Want For Christmas is a Baby Hippo.” Then by presenting a choir and a dancing hippo to her. She could not be more pleased. Then she shimmies! And it fills our soured, Sorkin-hating hearts with—what is this feeling?—joy?
