Rumors yesterday that Anna Kendrick was dating Game of Thrones Alfie Allen have been put to rest by Anna Kendrick herself, who tweeted the following today to Gawker w/r/t the rumors:
@Gawker Ahh, this has been hilarious and all but, nope. My apologies to Mr. Allen, who must be equally confused. :)
— Anna Kendrick (@AnnaKendrick47) August 13, 2014Interestingly, however, a commenter here yesterday (liddy) noted that the guy she was spotted with that prompted the dating rumors was probably Ben Richardson — a cinematographer on Happy Christmas and Drinking Buddies — who bears some resemblance to Alfie Allen.
Note that Kendrick did not deny she was dating somone, just that it wasn’t Alfie Allen.
Meanwhile, because I know you’re all anxious to know about Gwyneth Paltrow’s love life in the wake of her divorce, she is now apparently pulling an Amanda Peet and dating a respectable television showrunner, in this case Brad Falchuk, the other half of the Ryan Murphy creative team behind shows like Nip/Tuck, American Horror Story, and Glee, which Paltrow has appeared on with some frequency.
I like to think that this is Falchuk when he’s working on Glee:

And this is the Falchuk dating Gwyneth Paltrow.
By the way, if you haven’t seen Paltrow on Glee, it’s the most sublimely white thing you’ll ever see on television.
