Cardi B. She’s someone you may know as a Grammy-winning rapper, noted Tonka Truck Lasagna dragger, and she of an off-again-on-again relationship with Offset, (but really, should be off, forever because he doesn’t seem to treat her right.)
Friends, the above is probably what you think about when you think of Cardi B—but you may want to add “armchair astrologer” to that list, due largely in part to what she tweeted about today:
LIBRAS like to spend a lot of time ALONE, with no noise just THEIR mind.— iamcardib (@iamcardib) April 17, 2019
In case you were wondering, yes, Cardi B is a Libra.

Cardi seems to be all about her star sign, which if you forgot in the last two milliseconds, is a Libra, thank you very much.
I'm such a Libra it's not even funny my sign represents me so well— iamcardib (@iamcardib) April 6, 2016
So by this point, you’re probably wondering what are the defining traits of a Libra?
Well, I’m going to do some light Google searching for you, and copy and paste the top result here because sharing is caring:
Clearly, someone at Astrology-zodiac-signs.com paid their SEO person well, because they were the top result for Libra, although their definition conflicts with Cardi’s:
People born under the sign of Libra are peaceful, fair, and they hate being alone. Partnership is very important for them, as their mirror and someone giving them the ability to be the mirror themselves.
Cardi herself said she hates being alone. Friends, I think there is skulduggery afoot, here.
OK, maybe the above bought their placement and they don’t know sh*t about sh*t. Let’s check the second search result, which is astrology.com (who, honestly, they should hire the SEO person at astrology-zodiac-signs.com because really, they should be ranking #1 here but I digress.)
For a Libra, everything is better if it’s done as a pair. Libras are good when paired up, too, since they epitomize balance, harmony and a sense of fair play.
Friends, we’re at an impasse. Either Cardi B is wrong—or all of these random sites are. Or, perhaps, Cardi B is using a form of astrology all on her own, and we’re not privy to what Libras really are in her world.
There is, however, another explanation, and no hot shot, it’s not that astrology is a load of bull. Get your head out of the sand and open your eyes, man.
No, it’s this: Cardi is a nuanced woman and more than likely has a strong ascending sign that shapes her personality and how we perceive her. The Ascending sign is the secondary zodiac sign that supports your primary sun sign and is more outwardly focused (aka—how Cardi presents herself and the impression she leaves on us. Yeah, I know a thing or two about astrology … )
Now, despite popular opinion, I am neither Cardi B, her mother, nor the medical professional who delivered her, so I’m not totally sure what her ascendant sign is because you need a birth time for that. However, I’ll take a wild guess thanks to my old friend Google, by searching “star signs that like to be alone” and friends, Scorpio is the number one sign that likes to be alone, so sayeth “yourtango.com” (seriously astrology.com, get a better SEO person.) I think we have a winner.
So what was the point of all this? Other than to let you emphatically know that Cardi B is a Libra?!
…I don’t know but if you find out, please tell me!
