First things first, the above photo is obviously not recent. It’s from 2012 when Kim Kardashian first got her hooks into Britney Spears, and apparently, she’s never released her hold. Did seeing these two together take me back? You have no idea. Is that what it’s like to look at war photos after seeing combat? I’m going to assume yes, and that everyone’s very cool with that comparison.
Anyway, coming off another spat of troubling headlines thanks to Kevin Federline’s memoir and some erratic driving, Britney reportedly spent an evening with Kim and Khloé last week. Naturally, the hang was chronicled on Instagram because attention is the Kardashian’s prime food source, and well, let’s just say Britney is no stranger to the platform.
In a video shared by Britney, she can be seen sandwiched between Khloé and Kim in a vibrating bed, which is apparently a technological marvel to Brit. She captioned the post with the following message:
“Such a warm, beautiful, kind family… Thank you for allowing me to play with your kids and dinner!!! It was an honor to spend time with you guys!! Happy Holidays”
Was this hang a nice thing for the Kardashians to do for Britney during a rough patch? Probably? Kim also posted photos in her Stories, so I’m having a hard time seeing the altruism here. According to TMZ, Britney’s manager Cade Hudson was also there, which was probably the most surprising detail. I genuinely didn’t know she still had representation. What does that guy even do? Judging by the pics on TMZ, he mostly holds the camera for selfies. Is that who films Britney’s videos? Because I would probably not have my face anywhere near those.
Call me old-fashioned, but I like to avoid situations where I’m going to end up on a witness stand. It’s a weird quirk I have.
