Is Madonna Really Dumb Enough to Go Back to Sean Penn?

Magic 8-Ball says, “Signs point to yes.” Everybody say “UGH.”

Remember last week when Madonna’s former husband and abuse attended her Rebel Heart concert with Amy Schumer? Apparently that wasn’t a one-off. Radar Online is reporting Penn — who allegedly tied Madonna to a chair and for nine hours, and physically and verbally abused her — Madonna are hooking up again. Their sources say the pair “…were hooking up as recently as last year,” and that Madonna would “give anything to have another shot at love with him. No other guy has come even close in terms of standing up to her, satisfying her physically and being intellectually stimulating.” The tabloid also reports Penn is tagging along for the duration of her Vancouver concert dates.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? Come on, Madonna, we thought you were smarter than this. That chair incident is only one of many reports of Penn’s violence against his former wife; others include him allegedly hitting her in the head with a baseball bat. How, after being away from this guy for 26 years, can you even contemplate being in the same room with him, never mind alone, or be intimate? This is just disgusting on all levels; horrible for Madonna herself, and sends a terrible message to her kids, and any person who’s ever been abused. Having survived her nightmarish time with Penn, Madonna found the strength and courage to leave and divorce him all those years ago. I can’t even begin to comprehend how she could ever want to be near him again. Rebel Heart? Who knows if you’ll Live to Tell.

I’m just going to include a link to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and hope Madonna comes to her senses.
