Love moves at its own speed, so they say. Things have certainly moved quickly for Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz. The singer and actress are now reportedly engaged after only eight months of dating. No time was wasted.

The New York Post was the first to break the news. “He is completely smitten,” said their inside source. “He would jump off a cliff for her.” According to said source, none of their friends were surprised by the news, despite the speed of it all. Zoe was spotted wearing a mightily impressive diamond ring on that finger recently, seemingly confirming the news.

The Post report cites a “source” saying that Harry was so dead cert about this relationship that he went public far quicker than one would expect for a celebrity as famous as he is. Certainly, this is a guy who’s been through some nightmarish scenarios in terms of his fans and the media being weird about his love life. Look at how Olivia Wilde was called a child groomer and Taylor Russell faced a ton of racism during their relationship. Signing up to be the girlfriend of an Internet Boyfriend is a thankless task.

But if anyone is equipped to do it, it’s Zoë Kravitz. She’s been famous since birth, has navigated Hollywood with ease, and can brush off the paparazzi and make it look so cool in the process. She also knows a thing or two about being engaged to a regulation hottie. She was briefly engaged to Channing Tatum, and she was previously married to Karl Glusman. Given that she’s the offspring of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, I imagine she has a generational magnetic pull that could change the planet’s orbit if used irresponsibly.
