Last night on the Graham Norton Show, Graham brought up the fact that Eddie Redmayne had admitted to having a crush on Nala from The Lion King when he was a kid and decided to torment him a bit over this. Luckily, Anna Kendrick defended him, admitting that she had a crush on the Disney Robin Hood (well, who didn’t, really) and stated “In his defense, they draw them really sexy!” so she’s absolutely on some kind of list now.
So, fess up, which of you out there have embarrassing cartoon crushes? The less obviously human the object of your affection, the better. I think that’s why Eddie took most of the teasing here, at least everyone else’s crushes were vaguely human in appearance. Nala is clearly a lion, albeit a lion with very captivating eyes.
