Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Faces Further Investigation of Being a Creep

The man formerly known as Prince Andrew is not having a good time. Having been stripped of his titles, he was arrested in February in connection with an investigation into suspicion of misconduct in public office. His exit from the police station led to one of the most infamous candid photos in royal history. But really, has he suffered enough? Not even close. The unabashed BFF of Jeffrey Epstein and accused sex criminal faces even more problems related to revelations in the Epstein files.

According to The Times, police are looking into other allegations pertaining to the man now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. These include claims that he “acted inappropriately” towards a waitress at a Royal Ascot even in 2002.

The Epstein files revealed a lot about Andrew and his cronies, with one of the most egregious tidbits (at least from the perspective of the royal family and their demands for propriety) being that Andrew seemed to be feeding information to Epstein from his work as a trade envoy for the British government. Andrew was given the title of the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment in 2001. It was an unpaid role where his job was to be a public face and dignitary of sorts in worldwide trade negotiations. Andrew largely used it as an excuse to line his own pockets with expenses, play golf in exotic locales, and allegedly make dodgy business deals with various oligarchs. He also may have knowingly shared confidential information from these trips with Epstein. That’s why he was arrested in February.

Now, it’s being reported that an archive of over 30,000 emails includes evidence that showed Andrew was sharing confidential information to outside sources. And Buckingham Palace sat on those emails for six years. Since 2020, they allegedly knew all about this stuff, but hey, why bother about possible mass corruption and fraud when Meghan Markle closed a door in a gauche manner?

The thing that’s worth remembering is that Andrew being a trade envoy was understood to be a bad thing from the very beginning. Politicians were calling out his unsuitability for the job from the moment he was given it and calling out the lack of transparency over his hiring. He earned the nickname “Air Miles Andy” for his shameless claims of expenses from the British Government for first class travel and hotels. Actual diplomats nicknamed him “His Buffoon Highness” because he was such a notorious dick, turning up unprepared for important meetings and dropping his duties to play golf. We have a solid decade of reports of him using that job to hang out with corrupt weirdos, and he only got the sack once the Epstein stuff became too embarrassing to ignore.

Oh, and according to recent reports, Andrew’s mummy pushed hard for him to get that job. Of course. He was her favourite.

It’s strange watching Andrew face even a modicum of repercussions now that he’s no longer a prince. As time passes, it seems more and more evident that he got away with a ton of stuff just because of his title, and we may never know the full extent of his awfulness. That’s saying something because we know SO much stuff about his cruelty and stupidity: from the racism and sexism to the corruption, the entitlement, the bullying, the Epstein stuff, and Virginia Giuffre’s allegations. It remains to be seen if he’ll end up in a courtroom. I’m sure it’s sad for him that he doesn’t get to be a prince on the taxpayer’s payroll anymore but it’s not much of a punishment in the grand scheme of things for him to be in a big house paid for by his brother where nobody can bother him. One wonders what else Charlie and company know about Andrew that they’re not revealing.
