The last several weeks have given us two, count 'em, TWO Alyssa Milano controversies. In December, Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty claimed Alyssa got Shannen fired from Charmed way back in 2001. Last week, Alyssa went to a fan convention and delivered a word salad about her former co-stars creating a "revisionist history". Holly Marie Combs took this as a straight-up denial, and posted about how "shocked" and "disappointed" she was.

Then there's Controversy #2: GoFundMe-gate. On January 25, Alyssa took to Twitter to ask followers to donate to a GoFundMe she'd launched to raise money for her son's baseball team. The kids wanna go on a trip to Cooperstown! Alyssa was asking for $10,000; since its posting, the fundraiser has made over $15k.

History has shown us that regular plebs like you and I do not take kindly to fancy celebrities begging for our hard-earned dollars. And, sure enough, Alyssa's tweet was met with a chilly response; commenters asked why she couldn't cover the funds herself: "Why is she asking for money from people who can barely buy groceries?" Others brought up the fact that Alyssa's husband is David Bugliari, a big shot agent at CAA. They're millionaires.

Alyssa immediately defended herself against the haters, sharing that she's paid for uniforms for the entire baseball team, thrown birthday parties, and sponsors kids who can't afford their monthly dues. The following week, she went on Instagram and told followers she'd "love" to pay for the entire trip, but she could "not afford to do so. Maybe someday." She also pointed out that "every parent raises money for their child's sports teams," and she's no different. You know what? That's fair. Alyssa doesn't have to pay for everything. But she's gotta realize that launching a GoFundMe for her kid's extra-curriculars isn't a great look.

Then, yesterday, Alyssa made the situation a helluva lot worse when she went to the Super Bowl with her son. Yep, Super Bowl LVIII, where tickets were going for absolutely exorbitant prices. Seats started at $2k each, and, as you can see from this picture she uploaded to Instagram, Alyssa isn't exactly sitting in the nosebleeds:

Obviously, the people wasted no time taking Alyssa to task. Page Six compiled some of their thoughts:

"This is what the gofundme was for!" one troll commented on the post, referring to the controversial fundraiser.

"You have all the money to take him to the Super Bowl & still asked 'fans' to pay for him & his wealthy zip code teammates to go on a trip," a third wrote. "GOFUNDME isn't fundraising it is charity & charity ought to be for actual poor kids. Does that help? #alyssamilano."

"It's about right & wrong. You can defend her all you want. She looks ridiculous to most people in a lot of ways & she clearly isn't one to self reflect," one more added.

Don't worry, Alyssa also had fans come to her defense. One wrote, "How do you know she wasn't gifted Super Bowl tickets? Maybe she was invited there. One has nothing to do with the other." Hmmm, I don't know if getting "gifted" amazing Super Bowl tickets is as relatable as that commenter thinks it is.

Alyssa has yet to respond to this latest hullabaloo.
