Is there anything better than a guy who is both a total smoke show and a Grade-A weirdo? Alexander Skarsgård is unreasonably good looking and a proud oddball, and we couldn't love him more for it. In recent years, he's decided to match his eclectic filmography with his press tour wardrobe. Skarsgård and his stylist Harry Lambert went wild with his Pillion clothing, blending biker chic with BDSM flair and some old-fashioned sluttiness. So, it was only right that he remain consistent for Wicker, a rom-com where he plays a man fashioned from wicker to become Olivia Colman's ceaselessly horny husband.

At the film's Los Angeles premiere, Skarsgård wore a purple and green skirt with a long-sleeved black top featuring Colman's face.

His brother Bill, meanwhile, was dressed as an officer on the S.S. Enterprise who is also a cult leader.

At a New York screening, he was relatively subdued, except for a "Lick My Worm" t-shirt. That's a line from the film, not an invite. Boo. Also, hi, Papa Stellan. We know you're the real freak of the family.

The best/worst choice, however, was his all-gold attire for the London Film Festival. This is a fabulously tacky ensemble, but then you get to the shoes. Yes, those are translucent. He's just letting us see those feet for free. Recession indicator, Alex? Love you, dude, but not even you can make those shoes work. They're worse than the Chanel shoeless shoes.

He's back on surer ground with this gorgeous structured shirt that he wore to the Academy Museum Gala.

Long may your freak flag fly, Alex. Raise the bar for straight dudes in fashion. We're sick of the same old black suits or the "I performatively don't care" casual wear on the red carpet. If you're this tall and hot, you are obliged to dress as extravagantly as possible. For your own benefit, of course. Not ours. We're just respectful spectators.
