The Highest Grossing Films of 1992 Only Had One Superhero

Currently, there are four superhero movies in the top 10 highest grossing for this year. With even more comic book flicks coming over the summer, that number may increase. This is in stark contrast to the 10 highest grossing films of ALL of 1992, which only featured one superhero flick. It was a simpler, less Marvel-dominated time twenty-four years ago. Let’s wander into the wayback and look at what took our dollars in 1992.

Take special note of all of the goddamn cheese and mullets.
