And On This Day, Worst Chris Was 3-12 Percent Less Worse

Chris Pratt was on The Graham Norton Show this week, and while on it, he performed a very brief rendition of the LEGO: Movie song, “Everything is Awesome,” as the lead singer of Mouserat, the band his character fronted in Parks and Recreation. It offered a brief reminder of the Chris Pratt we used to love, who wasn’t really Chris Pratt so much as he was Andy Dwyer, which suggests that Chris Pratt is a better actor than we previously believed because I am pretty sure most of us were under the impression that Pratt was Andy Dwyer. I really miss Andy Dwyer.

In either respect, we tried to quantify how much less worse this performance made him in the Pajiba Slack, and we came to a number somewhere between 3 percent less worse and 12 percent less worse, which still makes him — at best — 88 percent more worse than the third Best Chris.

He could have closed the gap, however, by using the capo from the guitarist from Chaka Khan, by remembering all the lyrics to “Everything is Awesome,” or by performing the song in its entirety with the full backing of Mouserat.

Alas, we’ll have to settle for this.
