This week’s Graham Norton featured Toni Collette, Nick Frost, and Gary Oldman, and unfortunately, none of them told any stories that were better than the robot Norton brought out. On the other hand, the robot — which retails for 12,000 pounds — is amazing, and does a brilliant Gangnam style that really must be seen.

You can skip to the 3:20 mark for the dance, but earlier portions of the video may offer some more context on the robot (which is super cool).

During the show, Gary Oldman also talked about having to take English accent lessons because he’s been living in California for too long:

And he demonstrated his voice work on the video game Call of Duty (and dropped an amusing anecdote about Kiefer Sutherland):

Gary Oldman is a treasure. Full stop.

  • Watching him switch so effortlessly to different levels of Australian accent was amazing. What a gift.

Gary Oldman — "I'm more famous for 'Call of Duty' than for anything else"

That kinda sorta enrages me a bit. I hereby vow to buy every online racist/ homophobic 12-year-old who claims to have slept with my mom and teabagged me a copy of Sid and Nancy and Léon so it can resonate through their formative years and have the same impact on them as it did on me as a child.

It will be my legacy. Either that or I will have created a new class of monster that now screams "EEEEEVERYOOOOONE" on the headset at every match.

    I need that robot.

"It's feeling very vulnerable right now."

    *flop*

  • BWeaves

Oldman's accent is disconcerting. It's a little bit of every place he's lived.

Nick Frost certainly cleans up nicely. Stylish!

  • AvaLehra

it took me a while to realize who that was.

Love that show. GN brings out the most in his guests and makes them funny. Like the Brit Johnny Carson.

I think Oldman wasn't ready for the relaxed atmosphere at first-is this his first time on?
