Michael Che's First Segment as the New 'Daily Show' Correspondent Makes Everyone Else Look Like Pun-Loving Chumps

Back in April, it was announced that comedian Michael Che had been hired as The Daily Show’s newest correspondent. Since most of us weren’t familiar with Che’s work, we didn’t know what to expect. Last night Che had his first appearance, and in his segment from the green screen next to Stewart’s desk Syria, he started carving out a nice niche as Senior Actual News Correspondent.

    I'd read that he filmed it between stints on The Daily Show, so maybe he'll still be able to do both. Though I think The Brink films in LA, which is quite the commute.
