Matthew McConaughey Details His 'Dallas Buyers Club' Weight-Loss Diet

By Dustin Rowles | Videos | February 1, 2014 | Comments ()

Matthew McConaughey and Julianne Moore were on Britain’s Graham Norton talk show this weekend, and during it, McConaughey described how he managed to lose 47 pounds for Dallas Buyers Club. Like everyone, Julianne Moore wanted to know exactly what he was eating during that four month period to lose all that weight. The answer: 5 ounces of fish, a couple of vegetables twice a day, pudding in the morning, and “as much red wine as I’d like at night.”

So, if you’re looking to lose 50 pounds in four months, now you know how to do it, and maintain your buzz at night.

In that same clip, Julianne Moore also talked about dealing with her pregnancies during both The Big Lebowski and The Hours. In the clip below, however, McConaughey talks about his lean pose in all those movie posters for the terrible rom-coms he made.

Finally, McConaughey discusses the immediate impact of being the first person who wasn’t particularly famous yet to appear on the cover of Vanity Fair (VANITY FAIR. NO *sob* *sob*)

Here's some Daveed Diggs for you. On Daveed Diggs' digs, actually. That man does things with clothes that should not make sense, but are absolutely perfect. (Go Fug Yourself)

Woody Allen has "so moved on" from his daughter's accusations and says he never even thinks about it. He equates her words about him to a bad review he won't read and comments on how wacky it is that Mia Farrow is his mother-in-law. He is the worst. (Celebitchy)

Not The Worst but still very gross: Leonardo DiCaprio and his Pussy Posse Wolf Pack were on the douche prowl in NYC. (Lainey)

Here are 5 under-the-radar shows. I had never even heard of the first two. (Uproxx)
