I’ve never seen “Rugrats,” but now that I’ve seen this, I never will. Also, it the trailer provides the perfect intersection of “Arrested Development” and “Parenthood” casts.

Warning: Very disturbing. Also, a leetle bit sexy.

I'm too old to have caught "Rugrats" when it was on the TeeVee, but this movie needs to happen right fucking now.

I watched Rugrats way back when, and this totally fucked me up just now.

As if Rugrats wasn't already creepy enough. Remember when they tried to make the Rugrats "All Grown Up", their bulbous heads atop tweenage bodies? Also, I feel incredibly old knowing that this is a 20 year old cartoon.

It's still better than Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Rugrats is definitely the one cartoon that I watched as a kid for which I just can't for the life of me see what I saw. Where the fuck is the appeal? Dexter, Courage Cowardly Dog, Ren and Stimpy - I can see why I'd watch that shit; they were inventive, funny and layered. I could watch them now. But Rugrats - what the fuck, kid zeke the pig?! You were just watching shit for the sake of watching shit weren't you? You brainless, unproductive pile of bonewank. Go fuck yourself.

That preamble aside, Egg would be the perfect live action Angelica.

Not if I don't watch the trailer.

And I won't.

My generation is old enough to make internet videos now. Cool.

And I get that Rugrats wasn't the best show ever, but it had its moments and I tended to enjoy it when I was part of the target age demographic.

@zeke the pig- are you kidding? Rugrats was hilarious. They perfected the adult humor in the guise of child programing quite well.

Case in point: Chuckie gets a "Boppo the clown" doll, one of the punching clowns that "bops" back up when you punch it. He becomes obsessed with it and doesn't want to hang out with the other Rugrats anymore. The conversation that ensues:

I was in middle school at the time, and I got most of their "dirty" hidden meanings, it always kind of shocked me, but I loved it.
