Keith Richards popped into The Tonight Show to give Fallon a copy of his new children’s book — which includes a pretty cool story about how his grandfather got him into guitar. Fallon is predictably in awe of “one of the greatest guitarists of all time,” and even though it takes a minute for Richards to get warmed up and joking with Jimmy, once he does it’s a sweet segment…and turns out Keith is a darned good storyteller.
I loved hearing how his granddad lured Richards to the guitar…sounds like something my grandfather would have done.
